STAGE AT THE LAKE

FAQ'S

Here is some useful information about our Stage at The Lake events, coming to Shibden Park  on 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th August 2026

Stage at the Lake is a new cultural festival marking 100 years of Shibden Park, bringing together world-class performers, local talent, and the creative spirit of Calderdale.

STAGE AT THE LAKE

Set in the historic grounds of Shibden Hall and its lakeside park, the festival features theatre, comedy, classical music, brass, and youth-led performances across a multi-day outdoor programme. At its heart are community, creativity, and a connection to nature.

Stage at the Lake runs alongside Seeds of Hope, a new free community gardening festival.

Through Seeds of Hope, CultureDale has invited community groups to create a trail of unique gardens across the park.

These will be in situ from 13th August to 16th August 2026 and are free for everyone to enjoy. A map of the gardens will be available from June 2026.

These spaces will host free family activities and events. Find out more here
