We’re planning a relaxed, festival-style event and want to make sure there’s enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. To do that, we’ve limited overall capacity. To give as many people as possible the chance to attend on the day that suits them, we’re not offering weekend tickets on this occasion.

Some Stage at the Lake performances have age restrictions, please check the performance listings but please note that under–16s must be accompanied by an adult.

All audience members require a ticket, even if they are eligible for free entry. You will not be admitted without a valid ticket. Babes in arms (under 12 months only) do not require a ticket.

These events are outdoors and we are encouraging a relaxed, festival atmosphere. Please bring your own seat or picnic blanket.  There will be an accessible viewing platform for wheelchair users and their companion, and for anyone else who needs a seat for access reasons. Spaces on the platform are limited and must be booked in advance. Please contact our team at stageatthelake@calderdale.gov.uk and have “access platform” in the subject line to book your space and/or to discuss your access requirements.   You can also book a premium or VIP ticket to be provided with a seat.

There will be a range of food and drink for sale in the event site.  Arrive early to avoid queues and soak up the atmosphere.

The VIP package is designed for audience members who want a more luxury event experience. VIP ticket holders for this event will benefit from a free parking space,  a dedicated entrance and exclusive access to our VIP area. This area includes its own bar (card only), gourmet food vendor, and premium restroom facilities. On arrival you will access VIP car parking on site  Enjoy an exclusive reception with drinks and canapes in Shibden House overlooking the lake and arena.  Behind the scenes tour of Shibden Hall.  In the arena you will be provided with comfortable seats and access to premium toilets, bar and food providers.

There are no discounted VIP or Premium tickets for children. Children are welcome in these areas but will need a full-price ticket.

We want to ensure that Stage at the Lake events are safe and comfortable for everyone to enjoy.    We recommend you bring a seat or picnic blanket so that you can soak up the festival atmosphere. The following items will not be allowed into the arena. No, there will not be anywhere to store your belongings, please don’t bring large bags or luggage.

Yes, there will be portaloos, including accessible toilets, on site. There will be a changing place provision too or see the location of the nearest Changing Places toilets.

The performance will include loud music and flashing lights. There will be a signposted Quiet Space away from the Stage. If you’d like to know more about the Quiet Space, please ask a member of our team when you arrive.

Service animals are welcome, but no other animals will be allowed into the event site.

No, re-entry is not permitted.

Yes, the event will go ahead unless there are weather conditions that could impact the safety of performers and audiences. For our full ticketing refund and exchange policies, please visit the Victoria Theatre Box office    Please ensure that you dress for the weather conditions.
