Getting Here

Our Getting Here guide, provides information to help you with your show travel plans.

Please note there will only be parking for blue badge holders onsite from 3pm on each performance day.

 

For the Thursday and Friday daytime performances, limited parking will be available onsite and standard parking charges will apply.

 

To make attending easier, we will be operating free drop-off areas as well as a Park and Ride service. We strongly encourage guests to use these options when attending any of the performances.

Travel by Public Transport

Bus

 

Shibden Park is well served by public transport. Parking on site will be for blue badge holders and must be pre-booked.

 

You can take a bus from Halifax bus station to Shibden Park, the services run frequently and take about 5 – 10 minutes once on board.

Train

 

The nearest train station is Halifax. We will be running a FREE shuttle bus from Halifax train station to the park. These will run every half an hour from; The bus layby on Charles street outside the Woolshops car park.

Halifax railway station is well connected, with direct services from Leeds, Bradford Interchange, Manchester Victoria, Huddersfield and York. You can travel with Northern or TransPennine Express, with frequent departures throughout the day.
