Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Brassed Off with a spectacular homecoming performance and reunion in the place where it was filmed. Set beneath the summer sky in the beautiful surroundings of Shibden Park, this unforgettable finale to Stage at the Lake combines live music, cinema and Yorkshire pride in one extraordinary evening.
Enjoy a special concert from the world-renowned Grimethorpe Colliery Band before they perform the film's iconic soundtrack live alongside an open-air screening. Then hear exclusive stories from director Mark Herman and cast members Sue Johnston, Stephen Tompkinson, Tara Fitzgerald and Peter Gunn as they reunite on stage to reflect on filming in Calderdale and the film's enduring legacy.
As the sound of brass resonates across the park and the film unfolds on the big screen, experience a Yorkshire classic in the place it calls home. A unique celebration of music, film and community that simply couldn't happen anywhere else.
